VVS (븨븨에스) is a newly formed five-member South Korean girl group under MZMC Inc., making their official debut on April 22, 2025, with the digital single “Tea.” The group consists of Brittney, Ilee, Rana, Jiu, and Liwon, each member contributing their own unique talents and qualities to the ensemble. The name “VVS” is loaded with symbolism, referring to the highest grade of diamonds, representing the group’s relentless pursuit of excellence. It also stands for “5 VS,” signifying the collective strength of the five members, and draws an allusion to the five vertices of a diamond, representing each member’s distinct role within the group.

Before officially stepping into the K-pop spotlight, VVS garnered international attention with a feature on CNN’s The Whole Story with Anderson Cooper, which followed their intense training journey as they prepared for their debut. Their debut showcase, held at Ilji Art Hall in Seoul, highlighted their impressive performances, quickly establishing them as a promising new act in the industry. Under the guidance of renowned producer Paul Brian Thompson, known for his work with top K-pop artists, VVS has worked to create a distinctive sound that fuses various musical styles, with an eye on a global audience. Their first mini-album, D.I.M.M., is set to release on May 19, 2025, further solidifying their identity and musical direction.
