VillaBanks

VillaBanks, born Vieri Igor Traxler on August 17, 2000, in Ravenna, Italy, is an influential rapper and singer celebrated for his unique fusion of hip-hop, reggaeton, and dirty rap. His early life was shaped by frequent relocations due to his father’s job, living in countries such as Switzerland, France, and the United States, including a brief stint in New York. VillaBanks spent much of his youth in Florence, Italy, where he attended the French high school “Victor Hugo” before later moving to Milan. Initially learning the saxophone at age six, he discovered his passion for rap music at the age of fifteen.

In 2019, VillaBanks made his debut with the self-released album Non lo so, which garnered significant success, reaching gold certification in 2023. His breakout track, “Candy,” went viral, earning platinum status and solidifying his position in the Italian music scene. This success led to a signing with Virgin Records under Universal Music Italia and the release of his second album Quanto manca.

His third album, El puto mundo (2020), featured the hit single “Pasticche” with Capo Plaza, which also achieved platinum status. Continuing his rise, his fourth album Filtri (2021) reached the top ten of the FIMI Album Chart and earned a gold certification.

In October 2023, VillaBanks released his fifth studio album, VillaBanks, which debuted at number four on the Italian Album Charts, with the single “Papaya” reaching the top five in the Singles Chart. VillaBanks enjoys a strong presence on social media, with over 869,000 followers on Instagram, further cementing his status as a leading figure in Italian music.
