Coco Jones, born Courtney Michaela Ann Jones on January 4, 1998, in Columbia, South Carolina, is an American singer-songwriter and actress, recognized for her versatile talents in both music and television. Raised in Lebanon, Tennessee, she is the daughter of former NFL player Mike Jones and vocal coach Javonda Jones.
Her entertainment career began at a young age, with her first notable appearance in Radio Disney’s “Next Big Thing” competition in 2010. She went on to land recurring roles on Disney Channel’s “So Random!” and “Good Luck Charlie,” gaining further attention. However, it was her performance as Roxanne “Roxy” Andrews in the 2012 Disney Channel movie “Let It Shine” that truly marked her breakout moment, showcasing her impressive singing abilities and setting the stage for her future success.
In 2022, Jones transitioned to a music career, signing with High Standardz and Def Jam Recordings. Her debut EP, What I Didn’t Tell You, featured the hit single “ICU,” which received widespread acclaim, earning platinum certification and securing her the Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance in 2024.
