Tulsi hails from a prominent Punjabi Hindu family. She is the daughter of the late Gulshan Kumar, the founder of T-Series, and Sudesh Kumari Dua. Music runs in her blood, with her father being not only a successful businessman but also a singer. Tulsi’s siblings include Bhushan Kumar, a notable film producer, and Khushali Kumar, an actress. Her sister-in-law, Divya Khosla Kumar, is also a prominent figure in the Indian film industry.

Tulsi Kumar’s musical journey began at a very young age. She received classical singing training at the Suresh Wadkar Academy when she was just six years old.
