Tom Cardy

Tom Cardy, born on June 12, 1994, in Sydney, Australia, is a multi-talented comedian, musician, songwriter, and actor. He became widely recognized for blending humor and music, captivating audiences through his unique comedic style and musical talent across various platforms.

Growing up in Sydney as the youngest of three siblings, Tom was encouraged by his family to pursue music. His older sister Alex is a cinematographer, while his sister Stephanie is a doctor. Tom furthered his education in music and psychology at the University of Sydney. Early in his career, he got involved in university arts revues and played drums for the band The Lulu Raes.

In 2020, Tom gained significant attention with his “Song Sequels” segment on Australia’s Triple J radio, where he humorously extended the stories of popular songs. This success led to viral moments on TikTok and YouTube, where he shared original comedy songs, building a strong following.

His second album, The Dancefloor at the End of the Universe, came out in October 2024. Tom also contributed to the video game Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical.
