Thomas Rhett, whose full name is Thomas Rhett Akins Jr. was born March 30, 1990, in Valdosta, Georgia. He is a prominent American country singer-songwriter known for his dynamic career and chart-topping hits. The eldest son of country singer Rhett Akins, Thomas Rhett was exposed to the music industry from a young age. Raised in Hendersonville, Tennessee, Rhett grew up surrounded by music, forging connections with established artists like Tim McGraw and Brooks & Dunn. His early musical inclinations were evident when he learned to play drums in junior high, eventually performing onstage with his father. During high school, he was part of a band named The High Heeled Flip Flops, which further fueled his passion for music.
