Σtella

Σtella, born Stella Chronopoulou in Athens, Greece, is a talented singer, songwriter, and musician known for her distinctive mix of pop, folk, and electronic music. Growing up in the vibrant suburbs of Athens, Σtella was deeply influenced by both traditional Greek music and a variety of international genres, which shaped her musical style from a young age. Her journey into music began in 2010, and by 2012, she released her debut EP, Keep Me Naked, on SoundCloud, showcasing her unique sound.

In 2014, Σtella released her self-titled debut album through Inner Ear Records. The album received critical praise, with standout tracks like “Detox” and “Picking Words” earning significant airplay across Greece. Her ethereal vocals and innovative production quickly garnered attention both domestically and internationally, cementing her place as a rising star in the indie music scene.

A turning point in her career came in late 2018, when Σtella signed with the prestigious Sub Pop Records, making history as the first Greek artist to join the label. Her debut release under Sub Pop, Up and Away, came out in 2022 and marked a notable shift in her sound. The album blended vintage pop with modern elements, featuring both English and Greek lyrics, reflecting her cultural heritage and musical versatility.

In 2023, Σtella released her fifth album, Adagio, which further explored her Greek roots, combining soothing melodies with introspective lyrics. Her music continues to evolve, captivating listeners around the world with its unique fusion of genres and emotional depth.
