About Tee Stunna
Tee Stunna, born Tavaurus Huntley on December 15, 1990, is a Florida-based hip-hop artist whose journey began in the streets of Lauderhill and took shape in the vibrant music scene of Fort Lauderdale. Since stepping onto the mic in 2005, Tee Stunna has carved out a space for himself with a sound rooted in lived experience, ambition, and resilience.
In 2009, his grind paid off when he was signed to Deepside Entertainment, the label founded by NFL star Asante Samuel. That move gave him access to a wider audience and placed him among a new generation of rising Southern rap voices.
Stunna first made waves as part of the collective Goons United By The New School (G.U.N.S)—a group of Florida talents including Young A.C., Jay Balla, and Pebo Florida. Together, they dropped mixtapes like The Gun Show and New School Unity, building a local buzz with their raw energy and chemistry.
He branched out solo with Snap Mode in 2012, featuring the fan-favorite “Floaters” with Pompano’s Koly P. But it was 2014’s Snap or Try, hosted by DJ Smallz, that marked his breakout as a solo artist, with standout tracks like “Walk Light” and “Dat Part.”
Tee Stunna’s lyrics are unapologetically personal—drawing from real-life struggles, wins, and lessons. His passion and consistency have made him a respected name in the Florida hip-hop scene, with music that resonates far beyond state lines.
