In the years following their reunion, Swedish House Mafia continued to make headlines. In July 2021, they released “It Gets Better,” a track that reintroduced them to the music industry after their hiatus. The group’s debut studio album, Paradise Again, was released on April 15, 2022, through Republic Records. This album marked their first full-length release since their reunion and showcased their continued evolution as artists.

Swedish House Mafia’s return to the spotlight was not without its share of challenges. In December 2019, they were announced to perform at the Diriyah Season Festival in Saudi Arabia, marking their first show since the reunion tour. Additionally, their involvement in the Pandora Papers in October 2021 revealed that they had formed a company in the British Virgin Islands to manage their music rights, including tracks like “Don’t You Worry Child” and “Save the World.”

The group’s work continued to gain recognition, with their track “Moth to a Flame,” a collaboration with The Weeknd, being released on October 21, 2021. This track further demonstrated their ability to produce hit singles and collaborate with prominent artists. In 2022, they also contributed to The Weeknd’s album Dawn FM, co-writing and co-producing tracks such as “Sacrifice” and “How Do I Make You Love Me?”

As they moved into 2023, Swedish House Mafia remained a significant force in the music industry, performing at the opening ceremony of the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Their continued influence and contributions to the EDM genre were evident as they prepared to headline the 20th anniversary of Tomorrowland in January 2024.
