About Superheaven

Superheaven, originally known as Daylight, is an American alternative rock band that emerged from Doylestown, Pennsylvania, in 2008. The band’s lineup includes Jake Clarke (lead vocals, guitar), Taylor Madison (lead vocals, guitar), Joseph Kane (bass), and Zack Robbins (drums).

The group initially gained attention under the name Daylight, releasing several EPs, such as Sinking (2009) and Dispirit (2010), before dropping their debut studio album, Jar, in 2013. After a legal dispute with a Spanish band also named Daylight, they rebranded as Superheaven in 2014. That same year, the band signed with SideOneDummy Records and released their second album, Ours Is Chrome, in May 2015.

Following a period of touring to support Ours Is Chrome, Superheaven entered a hiatus. During this time, members pursued other projects, with Madison and Clarke forming a new band, Webbed Wing, in 2017. After years of anticipation, Superheaven announced their return in February 2025 with the release of a new self-titled album and the single “Numb To What Is Real.”

Blending influences of grunge, alternative rock, shoegaze, and post-hardcore, Superheaven has earned a reputation for their emotionally charged lyrics and dynamic sound, continuing to captivate audiences with their introspective music.
