He was raised in Ridgewood, New Jersey, by a French Canadian father and a Taiwanese mother. From an early age, Maisonneuve demonstrated a natural affinity for music, beginning his classical piano training at the age of six. However, by the age of 15, he grew tired of playing compositions by other artists and sought to create his own music. This decision marked the beginning of his musical journey. Afterward, he turned to music production as a form of self-expression and therapy, isolating himself to work on various demos and honing his skills.
