Alexander Warren Hughes, better known as Alex Warren, is an American singer-songwriter and popular social media personality. Born in Carlsbad, California, Warren has made a name for himself not only through his music but also through his comedic videos on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. With a following that began to grow as early as 2015, Warren’s digital footprint expanded significantly, eventually leading him to co-found the collaborative TikTok group known as The Hype House. This collective became a breeding ground for influential creators, pushing Warren into the spotlight as a leading figure in the social media world.

Growing up in Southern California, Warren developed a love for skateboarding, which became the backdrop for much of his early social media content. He began sharing his skateboarding adventures and humorous videos on Instagram before branching out to YouTube and TikTok, where his creative content earned him widespread recognition. In 2020, his growing influence led to his role as the host of AwesomenessTV’s Next Influencer, a reality show produced for YouTube that delved into the world of internet celebrities. Warren’s charisma on-screen caught the attention of Netflix, and in 2021, he was one of the stars of their unscripted series about The Hype House, giving his fans a more personal glimpse into his life.

Despite his digital fame, Warren’s passion for music has been a central aspect of his life. Encouraged by his father, who introduced him to artists like Coldplay, Linkin Park, and Train, Warren learned to play the Fender guitar at a young age. On a personal note, Warren’s life has been marked by both tragedy and resilience. His father passed away from kidney cancer when Warren was just nine years old, and his mother’s struggles with alcohol addiction led to a turbulent home life. As a teenager, Warren found himself homeless, relying on friends for support as he pursued his dreams. In 2018, he began dating Instagram star Kouvr Annon, and the couple became engaged in December 2022. They married on June 22, 2024.

In September 2024, Warren released his debut album, You’ll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 1), which includes many of his most well-known singles like One More I Love You, Screaming Underwater, and Headlights. This album marks a new chapter in his career, merging his personal struggles and experiences into a body of work that reflects his journey of growth, resilience, and hope.
