Simple Plan is a pop-punk band from Montreal, Canada, that has been delivering high-energy anthems and emotional honesty since their formation in 1999. The band consists of Pierre Bouvier (vocals), Chuck Comeau (drums), Jeff Stinco (lead guitar), and Sébastien Lefebvre (rhythm guitar), with longtime bassist David Desrosiers having contributed until 2020.

Their breakout came in 2002 with the debut album No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls, which struck a chord with angsty teens everywhere thanks to hits like “I’m Just a Kid,” “Addicted,” and the heartfelt ballad “Perfect.” Their follow-up, Still Not Getting Any…, arrived in 2004 and included the iconic “Welcome to My Life,” further cementing their place in early 2000s pop-punk culture.

Over the next two decades, Simple Plan continued evolving while staying true to their roots. Albums like Simple Plan (2008), Get Your Heart On! (2011), and Taking One for the Team (2016) kept their sound fresh and fans loyal. Their 2022 album Harder Than It Looks marked a new chapter as an independent band, featuring collaborations with artists like Deryck Whibley of Sum 41.

In 2025, they reunited with fellow Canadian pop-punk icon Avril Lavigne for the nostalgic single “Young & Dumb,” celebrating their early days and lasting friendship.
