RIIZE

RIIZE is a South Korean boy band formed by SM Entertainment, making their official debut on September 4, 2023, with the single album Get a Guitar. Originally a seven-member group, RIIZE included Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Sohee, Anton, and Seunghan. However, in October 2024, Seunghan departed from the group. Despite this change, RIIZE has continued to grow in popularity, establishing itself as one of K-pop’s rising stars.

Before joining RIIZE, Shotaro and Sungchan were previously part of NCT, having been introduced to fans in October 2020. Meanwhile, Eunseok and Seunghan were part of SM Rookies, a pre-debut training team, before being officially revealed in July 2022. RIIZE’s formation marked a major milestone for SM Entertainment, as it was their first boy group debut since the launch of NCT.

The group made waves with their debut and quickly followed up with their first extended play (EP), Riizing, released on June 17, 2024. The EP features eight tracks, including the lead single “Boom Boom Bass” and pre-released hits like “Talk Saxy,” “Love 119,” “Siren,” and “Impossible.” To celebrate their first anniversary, they released a repackage version, Riizing: Epilogue, on September 4, 2024, featuring the additional single “Combo.”

Alongside their studio releases, RIIZE embarked on their first major concert tour, Riizing Day, which kicked off on May 4, 2024, at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul. The tour spanned 31 shows across 19 cities in Asia and North America, concluding with an encore performance at Seoul’s KSPO Dome on September 15, 2024. With their fusion of contemporary K-pop, pop, and R&B influences, RIIZE continues to captivate fans worldwide with their energy, talent, and ever-evolving musical journey.
