In 2014, Montgomery gained attention on Vine, where he shared original comedic songs that showcased his wit and musical talent. This online success led to the release of his debut EP, Caught on the Moon, and inspired him to leave college and pursue music full-time. He eventually returned to Los Angeles to continue building his career.
Montgomery’s breakthrough moment came in 2020 when his songs “Mr. Loverman” and “Line Without a Hook” went viral on TikTok.
