Riar Saab

Riar Saab, born Tarun Singh Surjeet Singh Riyar on October 22, 1999, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, is an emerging Punjabi singer and social media personality. While he grew up in Dhapai, a small village in Kapurthala, Punjab, his deep connection to Punjabi music was forged early on. After completing his schooling at Holy Cross High School in Kurla, Mumbai, Riar continued his education at Guru Nanak Khalsa College of Arts, Science & Commerce in Mumbai.

Before adopting his stage name, Riar Saab, he performed under the moniker “Frenzzy” and was part of the Aavrutti music group. His breakthrough moment came in June 2023 with the release of his viral hit “Obsessed.” The song quickly gained traction across social media, particularly on Instagram, where it was used in countless reels. This viral success earned Riar widespread attention, including recognition from Bollywood celebrities.

Following the triumph of “Obsessed,” Riar Saab announced his debut EP, “How I Love,” which features collaborations with talented artists such as Abhijay Sharma and Kunwarr. The EP delves into the themes of romance, showcasing his artistic range and ability to blend contemporary sounds with traditional Punjabi elements.

As of mid-2023, Riar has amassed a dedicated following of over 22,600 on Instagram. Through his social media presence, he continues to engage with his fans, sharing insights into his music journey and personal life, solidifying his place in the music industry.
