Naomi Ramírez, better known by her stage name RaiNao, is a Puerto Rican singer-songwriter recognized for blending reggaeton, jazz, R&B, and alternative pop. Hailing from Santurce, San Juan, Puerto Rico, RaiNao was exposed to music early on, growing up in a musical family with her father being a salsa vocalist in the iconic Pete “El Conde” Rodríguez’s band. Initially, she focused on the saxophone and later studied music theory and instrumental performance at the prestigious Escuela Libre de Música.

RaiNao began her solo career in 2020, gaining attention with her reggae-infused rendition of Víctor Manuelle’s “He Tratado.” In 2022, she released her debut EP, ahora A.K.A. Nao, under Rimas Entertainment, which showcased her experimental take on urban and alternative music. Songs like “Plug” and “Un Amarre” highlighted her unique musical style, leading to recognition from big names like Bad Bunny, who invited her to perform at his San Juan concert.

In February 2024, RaiNao dropped her first full-length album, Capicú, which combined live instrumentation with experimental rhythms. Her growth continued with performances at major festivals like Ceremonia and Baja Beach Fest, as well as collaborations on projects like Mora’s Estrella de Mora. RaiNao’s music is known for its themes of self-expression, vulnerability, and empowerment, cementing her place as a fresh and distinctive voice in the Latin music scene.
