Paal Dabba, born Anish on January 17, 2000, in Pulianthope, Chennai, is a rapidly emerging talent in the Indian independent music scene. He began his artistic journey as a member of the Bfab dance crew, where he earned national recognition, including winning the Breezer Vivid Shuffle in 2019. His early exposure to performance arts laid a strong foundation for his musical career, which would later take off during the pandemic. In 2022, Paal Dabba made his debut in the music industry with his single “3SHA,” combining his Tamil roots with contemporary hip-hop, instantly capturing the attention of listeners.

His breakthrough came in 2023 with the release of “170CM,” a track that became a viral sensation. Featured in Apple’s “Work is Worth It” campaign, the song gained millions of streams, further establishing him as a notable figure in the Indian music scene. That same year, Paal Dabba released “Galatta” for the film Aavesham, which topped Spotify India and UAE charts, amassing over 30 million streams.
