Njomza Vitia, better known by her stage name NJOMZA, is an American singer and songwriter recognized for her unique fusion of pop, R&B, and hip-hop. Born on April 22, 1994, in Ludwigsburg, Germany, she moved to Chicago at a young age. Raised in a Kosovar-Albanian household, NJOMZA is fluent in Albanian and proudly maintains strong ties to her cultural roots.

Her musical career began as the lead vocalist of the alternative band Scarlett, with which she performed at the 2010 Warped Tour. After the band disbanded in 2011, NJOMZA turned to a solo career, initially gaining attention through her YouTube covers of artists like Mac Miller and Kid Cudi. Her talent quickly caught the ear of Mac Miller, who signed her to his REMember Music label, marking a pivotal point in her career.

NJOMZA has made a significant impact as a songwriter, contributing to major hits like Ariana Grande’s “7 Rings” and “Thank U, Next.” Her discography includes her mixtape Gold Lion (2013) and several EPs such as Sad For You (2017), Vacation (2018), Limbo (2021), and Stages (2023). In 2020, she signed with Motown and Capitol Records, further expanding her reach in the industry.
