Stanislas Dinga Pinto, better known as Niska, is a celebrated French rapper born on April 6, 1994, in Évry, France. With roots in the Republic of Congo, his parents emigrated to France before he was born. Growing up in the Champtier-du-Coq neighborhood of Évry, Niska was deeply influenced by Congolese rumba music, which he often refers to as his constant companion. This early immersion in music set the stage for his future in rap.

Niska began his music career with the rap group Negro Deep before launching a solo journey that would lead him to widespread recognition. In 2015, he released his debut mixtape Charo Life, which helped him gain attention in the French rap scene. His breakthrough came in 2016 with his first studio album Zifukoro, which debuted at number three on the French charts and was certified Gold within three months. The following year, his hit single “Réseaux” topped the French singles chart for eleven weeks, and his album Commando earned Platinum status shortly after release.

In 2019, Niska released Mr Sal, which also debuted at number one on both the singles and album charts. His collaboration with fellow rapper Ninho, GOAT, released in 2024, was well-received for its dynamic tracks and partnerships.

Beyond music, Niska has become involved in cultural and social causes, including a return to the Republic of Congo in 2024, where he worked to inspire and connect with local communities. Niska’s journey from the streets of Évry to global recognition is a testament to his resilience, talent, and deep connection to his heritage.
