NEXZ

NEXZ (ネクスジ / 넥스지) is a seven-member boy group that was formed through the reality-survival program Nizi Project Season 2, a collaborative effort between JYP Entertainment and Sony Music Entertainment. The group made their official debut on May 20, 2024, with their single album “Ride the Vibe” in South Korea, followed by their Japanese debut on August 21, 2024, with the EP “Ride the Vibe (Japanese Ver.) / Keep on Moving.” The members of NEXZ are Yu, Tomoya, Haru, So Geon, Seita, Hyui, and Yuki, each bringing their own unique flair to the group’s vibrant sound and performances.

The name “NEXZ” stands for “Next Z(G)eneration,” reflecting the group’s goal to lead a new era in music and performance. Their fandom is known as “NEX2Y” (넥스티), which stands for “NEXT TO YOU,” symbolizing the close connection between the group and their supporters. This strong bond is a key part of their identity, as they continue to inspire and engage their fanbase with their dynamic music and performances.

NEXZ’s musical journey began in 2023 with the release of their pre-debut single “Miracle” in both Korean and Japanese versions. This track set the stage for their official debut, which was followed by several releases in 2024. Their debut album “Ride the Vibe” in May 2024 was a major milestone, and in September, they released the Korean version of their track “Keep on Moving.” By November 2024, NEXZ dropped their first mini-album titled “NALLINA,” further solidifying their place in the music industry.

As NEXZ continues to grow in popularity, they captivate audiences with their diverse music, blending elements of both K-pop and J-pop. Their performances, marked by energy and charisma, have earned them a growing fanbase, and they are poised to become influential figures in the global music scene.
