Edwin Rosa Vázquez Ortiz, known by his stage name Ñengo Flow, is a Puerto Rican rapper and singer who has made a profound impact on the reggaeton and Latin trap scenes. Born on October 15, 1981, in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico, and raised in Bayamón, Ñengo Flow’s passion for music began at an early age. He took the stage for the first time at just 14 during a local event, setting the foundation for his career in urban music.
Ñengo Flow’s breakthrough came in 2005 with the release of his debut album Flow Callejero, showcasing his gritty, street-inspired lyrics. Over the years, he solidified his reputation with mixtapes like El Combo Que No Se Deja (2008) and La Verdadera Calle (2010). His Real G4 Life series, which began in 2011, marked a turning point in his career. The success of Real G4 Life 2.5 (2012), which peaked at number 61 on the Billboard Latin Albums chart, further cemented his place in the Latin music world.
Throughout his career, Ñengo Flow has collaborated with major artists like Daddy Yankee, Anuel AA, and Ozuna, earning the title “The Real G of Urban Music” for his authentic storytelling and deep connection to the streets.
