Michael C. Goode, better known by his stage name Mike Dimes, is an up-and-coming American rapper and singer from Killeen, Texas. Born on June 18, 2001, Mike’s childhood was shaped by his family’s military lifestyle, moving across several states including Colorado, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia. He eventually settled in San Antonio, Texas, during his sophomore year of high school, where he shifted his focus from sports like basketball and baseball to pursuing music.

Mike’s musical career kicked off in 2018, but it wasn’t until his breakout single “My Story” in 2021 that he gained significant attention. The track went viral on TikTok, pushing him into the spotlight. Following that success, he dropped his debut mixtape DLOG in May 2021, showcasing his unique style and versatility. His debut studio album, In Dimes We Trust, was released in March 2022 and received critical acclaim for blending Texas and Tennessee hip-hop influences, with heavy bass and emotive, minor-key melodies.

Building on this momentum, Mike released his second album, Texas Boy, in June 2023. The album reflects his diverse influences, drawing inspiration from artists like A$AP Rocky and Joey Bada$$, and features storytelling elements that resonate with a wide audience.
