About Mesto

Melle Kiet Stomp, known professionally as Mesto, is a talented Dutch electronic musician, DJ, record producer, and remixer born on September 30, 1999, in Amstelveen, Netherlands. Mesto’s musical journey began early, with him playing the violin at age six and drums at eleven. His passion for electronic music sparked after hearing Oliver Heldens’ “Gecko,” which led him to teach himself music production through online tutorials. By the age of fourteen, Mesto was already composing his own tracks using FL Studio. He later refined his skills at the Herman Brood Academy in Utrecht, where he joined the ranks of renowned artists like Martin Garrix and Julian Jordan.

Mesto’s career took off in 2014 when he released his debut track “Go!” with Alex Ranzino. His breakthrough came in 2015 with hits like “New York,” “Tokyo,” and “Rio,” and a successful remix of Major Lazer & DJ Snake’s “Lean On.” A significant milestone was his co-production of “Bouncybob” alongside Martin Garrix and Justin Mylo in 2015.

His collaboration with Garrix continued with the track “WIEE” in 2016, and later that year, Mesto signed with Spinnin’ Records. He went on to release tracks like “Chatterbox” with Fox Stevenson and “Bruh” with Curbi. His music spans various collaborations, including with Tiësto, Jay Hardway, and Mike Williams, and his evolving style is reflected in songs like “Leyla,” “Back & Forth,” and “Your Melody.” In 2019, Mesto teamed up with Aloe Blacc for “Don’t Worry.”

Mesto remains a prominent figure in the global electronic music scene, consistently releasing tracks that showcase his growth as a producer and his dedication to creating music that resonates with audiences worldwide.
