Mason Ramsey

Mason Ramsey, born on November 16, 2006, in the small town of Golconda, Illinois, captured the world’s attention in 2018 when a video of him yodeling Hank Williams’ “Lovesick Blues” inside a Walmart went viral. With his cowboy boots, old-school twang, and undeniable charm, the then-11-year-old became an overnight sensation—earning spots on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, performing at Coachella, and even landing a record deal with Atlantic Records and Big Loud.

His debut single “Famous” climbed to No. 62 on the Billboard Hot 100, and from there, Mason began carving out a real career in country music. He followed up with the Twang EP in 2019 and Falls Into Place in 2023, both of which highlighted his unique ability to fuse traditional country roots with a fresh, youthful sound.

In 2024, Mason released his first full-length album, I’ll See You In My Dreams—a project inspired by his love for the golden era of music, drawing from legends like Roy Orbison and Elvis Presley. The album reflects a more mature Mason, one who honors the classics while adding his own spin to the genre.

Outside of music, he’s tried his hand at voice acting, lending his voice to The Angry Birds Movie 2 in 2019. Despite his young age, Mason has shown remarkable staying power.
