Omary Ally Mwanga, better known by his stage name Marioo, is a celebrated Tanzanian singer, songwriter, and producer born on December 31, 1995, in the Pwani Region. Raised in Dar es Salaam, Marioo’s story is one of perseverance and passion. He left school early and worked in his uncle’s garage as a mechanic — but his heart was always in music.

In 2017, he took his first big step into the industry with the release of his debut single “Dar Kugumu.” The track’s honest lyrics and catchy melody struck a chord with listeners, quickly gaining traction and putting him on the map.
