Lucy Rose Parton, born on June 20, 1989, in Camberley, Surrey, England, is a talented singer-songwriter renowned for her soulful voice and reflective songwriting. Growing up in Warwickshire, Lucy was introduced to music early, first playing drums in her school orchestra before teaching herself to play guitar. By the age of sixteen, she began writing her own songs, setting the foundation for her future career.

At eighteen, she moved to London, where she met Jack Steadman of Bombay Bicycle Club. She contributed backing vocals to their acoustic album Flaws and continued collaborating on their later projects. In 2012, Lucy launched her solo career with her debut album Like I Used To, which was met with critical acclaim and charted on the UK Albums Chart, solidifying her presence in the music scene.

Lucy’s musical journey evolved further with the release of her second album Work It Out in 2015, followed by Something’s Changing in 2017. The latter was inspired by her travels across Latin America. In 2019, she released No Words Left, a deeply personal album exploring themes of mental health.

In 2024, Lucy released her fifth album, This Ain’t The Way You Go Out, marking a new chapter in her artistic growth. She also founded her own record label, Real Kind Records, in 2020. Outside of music, Lucy is married to tour manager William Morris, with whom she shares two children. Influenced by artists like Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, and Adele, Lucy continues to shape her unique sound and connect with audiences through her heartfelt music.
