​Los Dareyes de la Sierra is a distinguished norteño group originating from Navojoa, Sonora, Mexico. Formed in 1997 under the name Los Alteños De La Sierra, the band underwent lineup changes before rebranding as Los Dareyes de la Sierra. The ensemble is led by vocalist and accordionist José Darey Castro, accompanied by Miguel Enrique Razcón and Juan Vázquez. ​

The group’s musical style is deeply rooted in traditional Mexican sounds, blending corridos and norteño rhythms with contemporary elements. This fusion has resonated with audiences, leading to a series of successful albums released under the Disa label. Notable works include “Cigarro de Hoja” (2005), “El Águila Real” (2005), “En la Mira” (2007), and “Con Banda” (2008). ​

One of their standout tracks, “Adiós Mi Amor,” originally composed by Salvador Garza, was first recorded and released as a banda ballad by Los Dareyes de la Sierra in 2008. This song exemplifies their ability to interpret and popularize heartfelt ballads within the regional Mexican music scene. ​
