About Lorna Shore

Lorna Shore is a boundary-pushing deathcore band from New Jersey, formed in 2010. Blending brutal breakdowns with symphonic layers and blackened atmospheres, they’ve redefined what extreme metal can sound like. What began as a metalcore-leaning project quickly evolved into something far more dynamic and intense.

In their early days, Lorna Shore released EPs like Triumph (2010) and Bone Kingdom (2012), laying the groundwork for their dark and technical sound. Their 2013 EP Maleficium signaled a turning point, introducing more black metal influences and gaining attention with the single “Godmaker.”

Their full-length debut, Psalms (2015), produced by Will Putney, cemented their presence in the metal underground. By the time they released Flesh Coffin (2017), they had earned a reputation for marrying technical precision with grand, haunting melodies.

The band reached a new level of recognition with Immortal (2020), despite lineup turmoil. Following the departure of vocalist CJ McCreery, Will Ramos stepped in, and his debut on the 2021 EP …And I Return to Nothingness — particularly the viral track “To the Hellfire” — catapulted the band to international fame.

In 2022, Lorna Shore released their most ambitious work yet: Pain Remains. The album’s cinematic scope, emotionally charged lyrics, and ferocious intensity have set a new standard in deathcore.

Now consisting of Will Ramos (vocals), Adam De Micco and Andrew O’Connor (guitars), Michael Yager (bass), and Austin Archey (drums), Lorna Shore continues to innovate and inspire a new generation of heavy music fans.
