Lekan Osifeso Jr., better known by his stage name Lojay, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer who has made a significant mark on the Afrobeats and Afro-fusion music scenes. Born on April 28, 1996, in Lagos, Nigeria, Lojay grew up in a musically rich environment. His mother, a pastor, introduced him to gospel music, while his father, a construction manager, instilled a strong work ethic. From an early age, Lojay was drawn to music, performing for family and friends, and finding inspiration from global icons like Michael Jackson and local stars like Wizkid.
Lojay began his music career in 2016, debuting with the EP Midnight Vibes in 2017. Tracks like “Atarodo” and “Whine & Bubble” caught the attention of listeners. Over the next few years, he continued to evolve, releasing singles such as “Ariel” and “Ogogoro.” However, it was his 2021 collaborative EP LV N ATTN with producer Sarz that truly put him on the map.
