Laurel Arnell-Cullen, known by her stage name LAUREL, is a British singer-songwriter and producer renowned for her captivating blend of indie rock, disco, and synth-pop. Born on May 7, 1994, on the South Coast of England, she now resides in Los Angeles, where she continues to evolve her sound.

LAUREL’s musical journey began at a young age, recording her first EP, “Under The Laurels,” at just 15. She independently produced 100 copies of the EP, complete with original artwork, and sold them at a launch event she organized herself. The success of this early project led to her releasing a second EP the following year, recorded at a friend’s studio, further solidifying her passion for music.

Her debut album, “DOGVIOLET,” was released on Counter Records and showcased her soulful vocals and raw guitar work. All 12 tracks were written and recorded in her East London home studio, with the lead single “Lovesick” gaining attention for its emotional depth and musical complexity.

In 2023, LAUREL released her second album, “PALPITATIONS,” which marked a significant shift in her sound. The album blends indie rock with disco and synth-pop influences, delving into themes of desire, change, and freedom. Each song mirrors an emotional heartbeat, capturing the intensity of human experiences.
