Leony, born Leonie Burger on June 25, 1997, in the small town of Cham-Chammünster, Bavaria, has carved out a name for herself as one of Germany’s brightest pop talents. Her music career began in 2014 when she gained national attention as a member of the band Unknown Passenger, winning the RTL talent show Rising Star with a heartfelt cover of Rihanna’s “Stay.” Although the band parted ways shortly after, Leony’s passion for music endured. She signed with Sony Music Australia in 2016 and launched her solo journey with the debut single “Surrender” in 2017, signaling the arrival of a bold new voice in international pop.

Her breakout moment came in 2020 with the release of “Paradise,” a high-energy collaboration with Vize and Joker Bra that stormed the charts across Europe.
