Lali

Mariana Espósito, professionally known as Lali, is a multi-talented Argentine artist born on October 10, 1991, in Buenos Aires. She started her career as a child actress in 2003, appearing in the TV series Rincón de Luz. However, it was her role in the teen drama Casi Ángeles (2007–2010) that catapulted her to fame, making her a well-known name not only in Latin America but also in the Middle East and Europe.

Lali made a successful transition into music when she signed with Sony Music Argentina in 2014, releasing her debut album A Bailar. The album, which blends pop and EDM influences, became a commercial hit and marked the beginning of her musical journey. Her following albums, including Soy (2016), Brava (2018), and Libra (2020), further established her as a versatile artist, known for experimenting with different musical genres.

Apart from her entertainment career, Lali is also an outspoken activist. She is a vocal advocate for women’s rights and LGBTQ+ issues and has actively supported the legalization of abortion in Argentina. Her commitment to social causes further strengthens her influence.

In 2023, Lali released her fifth studio album, Lali, which features a mix of pop and rock elements, with her lead single “Fanático” addressing the impact of social media negativity. Over the years, Lali has garnered numerous accolades, including six Gardel Awards and five MTV Europe Music Awards, cementing her status as a major figure in the Latin entertainment industry.
