KZ Tandingan

Kristine Zhenie Lobrigas Tandingan-Monterde, professionally known as KZ Tandingan, is a celebrated Filipino singer, rapper, and performer. Born on March 11, 1992, in Digos, Davao del Sur, Philippines, she was raised in a musically inclined family, which sparked her passion for singing at a young age. Her distinctive voice and dynamic stage presence quickly set her apart in the entertainment industry.

KZ rose to prominence in 2012 after winning the inaugural season of “The X Factor Philippines,” a victory that catapulted her into the spotlight. This success led to the release of her debut album in 2013, which included the hit single “Puro Laro.” She also became a member of the Filipino girl group DIVAS, alongside renowned singers Angeline Quinto, Yeng Constantino, and Kyla, further expanding her influence in the music scene.

In 2018, KZ gained international recognition when she participated in the Chinese singing competition “Singer 2018.” Her unique renditions of popular songs won her critical acclaim and introduced her incredible talent to a global audience, elevating her status as a versatile artist.

Beyond music, KZ has also explored acting, appearing in films like The Trial (2014) and The Art of Ligaw (2019). She married fellow singer TJ Monterde on August 28, 2020.
