Kinny Zimmer

Kinny Zimmer, born Wiktor Jakowski on July 18, 1999, is a rising star in Poland’s hip-hop and trap scene. Known for his moody melodies and emotionally raw lyrics, Kinny has carved out a niche with music that reflects themes of love, heartbreak, and everyday challenges — all delivered with a fresh, genre-bending edge.

His journey began in 2019 with a self-produced album titled Aksonometria, followed by the experimental EPs Oko Ptaka Z Góry Patrzące and Achhh. Though these early releases are no longer available online, they captured the attention of the underground and hinted at the bold creativity to come.

In 2020, Kinny signed with rapper Szpaku’s label GUGU and released tracks like “IKEA” and “Po Jabłkach.” While his debut album SADBOY, CHŁOPAK Z SADU was announced, he left the label later that year and the project was shelved — but Kinny wasn’t done.

His real breakthrough came in 2021 through the SBM Starter campaign, which spotlights emerging Polish rap talent. His single “Rozmazana kreska” became a viral sensation on TikTok, racking up tens of millions of views. That momentum led to a deal with SBM Label in early 2022, where he released the hit “Benz-Dealer” featuring Quebonafide.

In May 2022, Kinny dropped his debut album Letnisko, earning gold certification and landing on the Polish charts. He’s also featured on the massively popular Hotel Maffija 2 project and has collaborated with big names like Bedoes, White 2115, and Jan-Rapowanie.
