KIM TAE RAE (김태래)

Kim Tae-rae (김태래), better known as Taerae, is a talented South Korean singer and the main vocalist of the boy group ZEROBASEONE (ZB1). Born on July 14, 2002, in South Korea, Taerae stands at 174 cm (5’8½”) and is signed under WAKEONE Entertainment.

Taerae’s musical journey began in 2020, when he participated in the reality survival show Top 10 Student. However, it was in 2023 when he gained significant recognition as a contestant on Mnet’s Boys Planet. His impressive performances earned him 6th place, securing his spot in the newly formed group ZEROBASEONE.

On July 10, 2023, Taerae officially debuted with ZB1 with the release of their mini-album Youth in the Shade. Known for his remarkable vocal range and emotive delivery, Taerae has also showcased his talents through various original soundtracks (OSTs), including his recent track “If You,” featured in the Tving original series One Week Before I Die.

In addition to his music career, Taerae has appeared on TV programs like Immortal Songs: Singing the Legend, where he won an episode dedicated to the iconic K-pop duo TVXQ.
