Kenny Mason, born Edwin Kenneth Green Jr. on December 17, 1994, is a boundary-pushing rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer hailing from Atlanta, Georgia. Blending Southern rap with alt-rock, grunge, and trap, Mason has carved out a sound that’s entirely his own. He started writing lyrics at just 12 years old, pulling influence from an eclectic mix of artists—ranging from Lil Wayne and Kendrick Lamar to Deftones and Slipknot. That genre-defying taste would later become the foundation of his artistry.

Mason first made waves in 2019 with his breakout single “Hit,” a raw, high-energy track that earned him attention far beyond Atlanta’s underground scene. In 2020, he followed up with his debut album Angelic Hoodrat, an experimental and emotionally charged project that blended heavy guitars with introspective storytelling. A year later, he expanded on the concept with Angelic Hoodrat: Supercut, bringing in features from heavyweights like Denzel Curry and Freddie Gibbs.
