Jessica Simpson

Jessica Ann Johnson (née Simpson), born on July 10, 1980, in Abilene, Texas, is a multi-talented American singer, actress, and fashion designer. The eldest of two children, she grew up in a supportive household with her mother, Tina, a homemaker, and her father, Joseph, a minister. Her younger sister, Ashlee Simpson, also found fame as a singer and actress.

Jessica’s career took off in the late 1990s when, at 17, she signed with Columbia Records. Her debut album, Sweet Kisses (1999), produced the hit single “I Wanna Love You Forever,” which became a top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. She continued her success with albums like Irresistible (2001) and In This Skin (2003), with the latter achieving triple-platinum status in the U.S.
