Jaswinder Singh Bains, better known as Jazzy B, is an Indo-Canadian singer, songwriter, and one of the most influential figures in Punjabi music. Born on April 1, 1975, in Nawanshahr, Punjab, India, he moved to Vancouver, Canada, at the age of five. Growing up in a culturally rich Punjabi community, he was deeply inspired by legendary singer Kuldeep Manak, whose music ignited his passion for Bhangra.

Jazzy B’s journey in the music industry began in 1993 with his debut album Ghugian Da Jorra, marking a fresh, energetic wave in Punjabi music. His unique style—blending traditional Bhangra rhythms with contemporary beats—quickly set him apart. Over the years, he released several hit albums, including Folk ‘N Funky, Romeo, and Rambo, solidifying his reputation as a trendsetter. Known for his bold fashion sense, signature hairstyles, and powerful vocals, he redefined Punjabi music for a global audience.

Beyond music, Jazzy B explored acting, making his debut in the 2013 Punjabi film Best of Luck, which earned him the PTC Punjabi Film Award for Best Male Debut. His electrifying performances and larger-than-life stage presence have earned him the title The Crown Prince of Bhangra, a testament to his lasting influence in the industry.
