Jay Park (박재범)

Jay Park, born Park Jae-beom on April 25, 1987, in Seattle, Washington, is a Korean-American singer, rapper, songwriter, producer, dancer, and entrepreneur. He first gained fame as the leader of 2PM, a popular K-pop group under JYP Entertainment. However, in 2009, he left the group and returned to the U.S., sparking speculation about his future in the industry.

In 2010, Jay made a bold comeback as a solo artist, signing with SidusHQ and redefining his career on his own terms. His music blends R&B, hip-hop, and pop, showcasing his versatility and deep connection to the culture. Beyond music, he is a member of Art of Movement (AOM), a Seattle-based b-boy crew that highlights his passion for dance.

Driven by his entrepreneurial spirit, Jay founded AOMG in 2013, an independent label that became a powerhouse in the Korean hip-hop scene. He later co-founded H1ghr Music in 2017 with producer Cha Cha Malone, creating a bridge between Asian and Western hip-hop. In 2022, he launched another label, MORE VISION, further cementing his influence in the industry.
