Jay Chou

Jay Chou, born on January 18, 1979, in Taipei, Taiwan, is a dynamic and versatile artist recognized globally as the “King of Mandopop.” Known for his unique fusion of R&B, rap, classical, and traditional Chinese music, Chou has left an indelible mark on the music and fashion scenes, especially in the Chinese-speaking world.

Raised in Taipei by his mother, Yeh Hui-Mei, a fine arts teacher, and his father, Chou Yao-Chung, a biomedical researcher, Chou was exposed to various artistic influences from an early age.
