Javed Ali, born as Javed Hussain, is an accomplished Indian playback singer who has left an indelible mark on the Indian music industry. Hailing from Panchkuian Road, Delhi, Javed grew up immersed in the world of music, thanks to his father, Ustad Hamid Hussain, a noted qawwali singer. From a young age, Javed showcased an exceptional talent for singing, which was nurtured under the guidance of his father. A significant turning point in his musical journey came when ghazal maestro Ghulam Ali recognized his potential and mentored him. As a tribute to his guru, Javed adopted the name “Javed Ali” and began carving out his unique identity in the music industry.

Javed’s career took flight in 2007 with the song “Ek Din Teri Raahon Mein” from Naqaab. However, his soulful rendition of “Jashn-e-Bahaaran” in Jodhaa Akbar catapulted him to fame. Over the years, he has lent his voice to numerous chart-topping tracks, including “Kun Faya Kun” from Rockstar, “Arziyan” from Delhi-6, “Tu Hi Haqeeqat” from Tum Mile, and “Tum Tak” from Raanjhanaa.
