Isha Talwar

Isha Talwar, born on December 22, 1987, in Mumbai, India, is a talented actress and model recognized for her impressive work in both Malayalam and Hindi cinema. The daughter of actor Vinod Talwar, Isha initially entered the entertainment industry through modeling, appearing in commercials for brands like Pizza Hut, Kaya Skin Clinic, Dulux Paints, and Vivel Fairness Cream. Her first notable on-screen appearance was at the age of 13, playing Aishwarya Rai’s younger sister in the film Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai (2000).

She pursued an education in economics at St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai, graduating in 2008, and also trained in various dance forms such as ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and salsa under choreographer Terence Lewis. This training led her to become a dance tutor as well.

Isha’s film debut came in 2012 with the Malayalam movie Thattathin Marayathu, which earned her the SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut in Malayalam. She went on to gain further recognition with roles in films like Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde (2013), Bangalore Days (2014), and Maine Pyaar Kiya (2014). Her role in the Hindi film Article 15 (2019) also added to her growing fame.

Isha solidified her place in the industry with her standout performance as Madhuri Yadav in the Amazon Prime web series Mirzapur 2 (2020), followed by notable roles in Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo (2023) and Indian Police Force (2024). With her diverse roles and undeniable talent, Isha continues to captivate audiences in the Indian entertainment industry.
