HuyR, born Vũ Văn Huy on April 4, 1995, in Vĩnh Phúc, Vietnam, is one of the standout voices in Vietnam’s modern pop scene. With no formal training in music, HuyR’s journey began in high school, where his love for songwriting and sound led him to experiment and grow his craft. Starting out with the underground collective AVN, he collaborated with emerging talents like Masew and Lizay, steadily building a name for himself.

His big break came in 2018 with the infectious hit “Cô Gái M52,” a pop-reggae fusion that quickly became a viral sensation. The song racked up over 50 million YouTube views and topped Vietnamese music charts, instantly turning HuyR into a household name. He followed that success with “Anh Thanh Niên,” a song that captured youthful optimism and clocked millions of views within a single day—solidifying his place in the industry.

Known for blending catchy pop melodies with relatable, down-to-earth lyrics, HuyR strikes a unique balance between contemporary production and traditional Vietnamese musical sensibilities.
