Hardy Sandhu, born Hardavinder Singh Sandhu on September 6, 1986, in Patiala, Punjab, India, is a multifaceted artist known for his work as a singer, actor, and former cricketer. Growing up in Patiala, Hardy was passionate about cricket from an early age. He played as a fast bowler for the Punjab Under-19 team and the Punjab Ranji team for about 12 years. Unfortunately, his cricketing career came to an abrupt end in 2007 due to an elbow injury.
After retiring from cricket, Hardy transitioned to music, marking the beginning of his singing career in 2012 with the release of his debut song “Tequila Shot.” He gained widespread recognition in 2013 with the hit single “Soch,” written by Jaani and composed by B Praak. The track’s success led to its inclusion in the 2016 Bollywood film Airlift, which significantly boosted his popularity.
Hardy also ventured into acting, debuting in the 2014 Punjabi film Yaaran Da Katchup, and later appearing in the 2016 Bollywood film Udta Punjab. His acting career continued with notable roles in 83 (2021) and Code Name: Tiranga (2022).
