Giga

Giga (ギガP), born on December 15, 1991, in Akita, Japan, is a renowned producer, composer, lyricist, and utaite who has become a key figure in the Vocaloid scene. Giga first made his mark as a Vocaloid producer in 2009 and later expanded his career to include singing in 2012. He is celebrated for his energetic, electronic, and techno-infused compositions, often pairing them with vibrant, visually captivating videos.

Known for his expert tuning of Vocaloid voicebanks, particularly Kagamine Rin and Len, Giga’s music is characterized by its fast-paced, high-energy soundscapes. One of his most iconic works is the track “Gigantic O.T.N,” a favorite in the Vocaloid community that showcases his distinctive style. His music is often accompanied by flashy visuals that match its intensity, further enhancing the experience for listeners.

In 2015, Giga formed the electronic pop group REOL alongside vocalist Reol and illustrator Okiku. The group quickly gained popularity but disbanded in 2017 due to creative differences. Despite this, Giga continued to thrive in the music industry.

Beyond his solo career, Giga has contributed to Project SEKAI COLORFUL STAGE! feat. Hatsune Miku, composing popular tracks such as “Ready Steady,” “Wah Wah World,” and “Beyond the Way.” His innovative approach to music and animation continues to influence both the Vocaloid and broader electronic music scenes.
