Ghost Mountain, born Wren Kosinski, is a California-based rapper, singer, and songwriter who has carved out a unique space in the underground music scene. Known for his blend of gothic, folk, and emo-rap influences, he co-founded the influential rap collective Haunted Mound with fellow artist Sematary. Together, they’ve developed a distinct sound, merging horrorcore aesthetics with experimental elements that have captivated fans worldwide.

In 2021, Ghost Mountain stepped back from music to focus on his studies in film, temporarily leaving Haunted Mound. During his hiatus, the collective continued to gain recognition, with Sematary driving their shared vision forward. However, after a three-year break, Ghost Mountain returned to music with the release of his solo mixtape October Country on March 7, 2025. The mixtape marks a new chapter in his artistic journey, combining rustic California gothic vibes with introspective lyrics inspired by Greek mythology. Tracks like “Kismet” and “By the Flame” reflect his evolution, both as a musician and as a storyteller.

His return to Haunted Mound and the launch of October Country have reenergized his fan base, reaffirming his place as a distinctive voice in the underground rap scene.
