Flock of Dimes

Flock of Dimes is the creative solo project of Jenn Wasner, a versatile American musician born on April 16, 1986, in Baltimore, Maryland. While many first came to know her as one half of the indie rock duo Wye Oak, Wasner created Flock of Dimes to explore new sonic territory—an expressive mix of electronic textures, indie rock roots, and shimmering synthpop. Her music is deeply emotional, often weaving together introspective lyrics with lush, atmospheric arrangements.

Her debut album, If You See Me, Say Yes (2016), marked a bold step into solo artistry. It showcased Wasner’s gift for melody and emotional nuance, earning praise for its intricate production and heartfelt songwriting. In 2021, she released Head of Roses, a more personal and vulnerable body of work born from heartbreak and transformation. Co-produced by Nick Sanborn of Sylvan Esso and featuring collaborators like Meg Duffy and Matt McCaughan, the album was a critical favorite and a testament to Wasner’s growth as both a producer and storyteller.

In addition to her solo work, Wasner is a sought-after collaborator. She tours and records with Bon Iver, contributing guitar and vocals, and regularly works with a range of artists across genres.
