Flo Milli

Flo Milli, born Tamia Monique Carter on January 9, 2000, in Mobile, Alabama, is an American rapper who has quickly risen to prominence with her bold and energetic style. From a young age, Carter was drawn to music, writing her first song at just nine years old and beginning to rap at eleven. Her early passion for music led her to form a rap group called Real & Beautiful, later renamed Pink Mafia, though the group dissolved when she was 14. Inspired by a performance by Nicki Minaj on BET’s 106 & Park, Carter began crafting her own verses, gradually developing them into full-fledged songs. Her experiences in high school, where she faced various challenges, shaped her confidence and determination to pursue a career in music, driven by her belief in the importance of self-validation.

Carter started releasing music independently in 2015, with her first solo track, “No Hook,” posted on SoundCloud. In March 2024, Flo Milli released her second studio album, Fine Ho, Stay, which included the single “Never Lose Me.” This track marked a major milestone in her career, becoming her first entry on the US Billboard Hot 100, where it peaked within the top 20.
