Erika Vikman, born on February 20, 1993, in Tampere, Finland, is a fearless Finnish singer and songwriter known for shaking up the pop landscape with her unapologetic blend of disco, schlager, and modern pop. Her career began in a very different musical world—Finnish tango. In 2016, she won the prestigious Tangomarkkinat competition, earning national recognition and the title of “Tango Queen.” But Vikman wasn’t content to stay within tradition. That victory became the launchpad for a dramatic artistic transformation.

In 2020, she made headlines with her breakout single “Cicciolina,” a dazzling disco-pop tribute to Ilona Staller—a former adult film star turned politician. Bold, cheeky, and empowering, the song quickly became a pop culture phenomenon in Finland, climbing the charts and solidifying Vikman’s image as a provocateur with a message.
